The members of the Historical Committee are gathering and keeping track of the history of our association, the observatory and astronomy in Leiden in general. By digging out hidden-away treasures such as photographs and old letters from the archives of the observatory and interviewing former members of the association they are learning about the stories behind our astronomy community here in Leiden.
To celebrate the 30th birthday of L.A.D. ‘F. Kaiser’, the Historical Committee is creating a booklet about the history of the association. Do you have a way with words and enjoy writing stories?
